Islip, NY – Breeze Airways’ inaugural flight to Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, took off from Long Island MacArthur Airport Thursday. Summer seasonal service is offered on Thursdays and Saturdays, starting June 29th at $59 one way.
Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter greeted passengers with Long Island MacArthur Airport tote bags before they boarded the full flight. Looking on are Airport Commissioner Shelley LaRose-Arken and Deputy Commissioner Rob Schneider.
