Islip, NY – Children of all ages and those young at heart enjoy Sayville’s newest playground at Sayville Marina Park. Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter; Councilman James P. O’Connor; Councilman John M. Lorenzo; Tom Owens, Commissioner Town of Islip Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs, and Deirdre Wahlberg, Deputy Commissioner, Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs joined with residents to cut the ribbon at the new facility along the picturesque Great South Bay.
“Sayville Marina Park is a gem in the Town of Islip, where families have been coming for years to make memories. We are grateful to Commissioner Owens and the members of the Town Board for ensuring these quality-of-life improvements throughout our communities,” said Supervisor Carpenter.
