Clemente Park Cleanup

An Oasis For Brentwood Youth
Ending years of gridlock, upon taking her oath of office March, 2015 Supervisor Angie Carpenter and her team moved quickly to obtain the proper approvals and permits to begin remediation of the illegally dumped debris in Roberto Clemente Park.
Restoration of the Clemente Park fields included a complete overhaul of the Olympic swimming pool, closed for the previous 5 summers due to cracks in the foundation and budget cuts. Supervisor Carpenter and New York State Assemblyman Phil Ramos secured a grant to build a water spray park that will open in the summer of 2019.
Plans are also underway at Clemente Park to build a community skateboard park offering neighborhood kids another safe place to have fun with friends.
